Organizers of a benefit 90 mile motorcycle ride this Saturday, March 23 will proceed with it and donate the proceeds to the family of the late Theron Branch to help pay funeral and medical costs. Mr. Branch died on March 15 from complications of cystic fibrosis. The ride originating at the Macclenny Moose Lodge was initially intended to raise money for a double lung transplant. Wesley Norman said it will leave from the lodge on Lowder St. at 9 am and end about 11:30. Food and music will follow.
There is a $25 per bike entry fee; passengers are $10.
