The Baker County school board will convene July 26 at 6:30 pm in its chambers, 270 South Blvd. E., to consider the district's 2010-11 proposed budget and associated property tax (millage) rate. The rate is proposed at about five percent less than the rate needed to raise the same amount of tax revenues as this year. The proposed budget totals $54.3 million.
