| Concert to support families with cancer |

ShareApril 30 is the date set for the Concert With Compassion at the Baker County fairgrounds, with proceeds going to assist local families stricken by cancer.
The event is expected to feature a line-up of country, gospel, bluegrass and other entertainment from morning to evening.
The Hilda Manning Compassion Fund is sponsoring the concert in her memory. She died in June, 2010 of cancer, and her daughter Denise Manning will be one of the performers. Advance tickets are on sale at Food Lion and Woody’s this Saturday and at Fabulous Footwork Dance Studio next Monday and Thursday.
