Share Myra E. Kirkland, 85, of Lake City died April 13, 2011. She was born in Macclenny to Albert Kirkland and Eula Thomas Kirkland on March 31, 1926. Myra was a native of Macclenny and a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a graduate of Baker County High School and the University of Florida.
Mrs. Kirkland was a public school teacher for 15 years. She loved reading, arranging flowers and traveling, and was predeceased by siblings Wilbur Kirkland, Emery Kirkland, Anna Marguerite Waters and Clarice McGregor.

Share Alma Lee Rhoden, 91, of Glen St. Mary died April 15, 2011. She was born in Duval County to Will Carter and Alice Cone Carter on November 24, 1919, and was a resident of Baker County most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Glen for 70-plus years.
Alma loved her grandbabies, crocheting, embroidery, yard work and was an amazing cook. She adored her cats Tink 1, 2 and 3. She was predeceased by sons Elton Rhoden and Virgil Rhoden; brother Charlie Carter.
