Bobby Gene Padgett, 72, of Clay Hill, Florida died May 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Highland, FL on August 2, 1938 to Lonnie Padgett and Ola Padgett. Bobby was the last of 10 native residents of Clay Hill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shrimping and being a provider for his family.

Mr. Padgett was an active member and served as a shop steward in the Teamsters Local #512 of Jacksonville, where he retired in 1987 after 30 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by sisters Ethel Peeler, Mertie Brooks, Minnie Moore and Emily Royston; brothers Buddy, Mark Lee and L.J. Padgett.

Evelyn Burnsed Raulerson, 76, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Shands Jacksonville following a long illness. She was born in Moniac, Georgia and resided in Jacksonville for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Moniac Baptist Church.

Mrs. Raulerson enjoyed gardening and reading in her spare time. She was preceded in death by parents Enoch Burnsed and Elsie Rhoden Burnsed; husband James C. Raulerson.

Lyric Bailey Williams, infant daughter of Candyce L. Arline and Kevin Williams, both of Jacksonville and formerly of Olustee, died May 7, 2011. 

Survivors include maternal grandparents Troy Scriven of Olustee, Nathaniel (Alene) Thomas Sr. of Macclenny; paternal grandparents James and Precious Williams of Margaretta; maternal great-grandparents Laverne and Dorothy Arline of Olustee; many aunts, uncles cousins and other relatives. 

The graveside service will be held May 13 at 2:00 pm at Arline Cemetery in Olustee. Cooper Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge of arrangements.

ShareElzia Starling Raulerson of Vancouver, WA passed away at home surrounded by family on March 12, 2011. She was born September 28, 1916 in Baxter to William and Minnie Starling.

After working for 20 years at Anchor Hocking Glass Factory in Jacksonville she retired to Vancouver, which she called ‘God’s Country’. While in Vancouver she worked in the distribution department of The Columbian, where she was publicly honored for her dedication. Elzia enjoyed crafting quilts, jigsaw puzzles, making doll clothing, and sightseeing. She was always full of life and always had a colorful and unconventional tale to tell everyone.
Elzia was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clyde Raulerson, her parents, three daughters, one son, two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include daughter Laura Harris; sons Benny, Johnny, Jimmy, Clyde, and Edward; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren surviving her.

A celebration of her life will be held April 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glen St. Mary Assembly of God in Glen St. Mary, with Pastor Paul Hale officiating, followed by inurnment at the North Prong Cemetery in Baker County, FL. Cascadia Cremation & Burial Services is in charge of local arrangements.
