Share Marie Crews, 65, of St. George, GA died on April 30, 2013. She was born in Baldwin, and was a member of New Hope Congregational Methodist Church in Macclenny, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Hardy Crews and sister Janice Ganey.
She is survived by her husband Morris Crews; children Donna (John) Phillips and Clifford (Kelly) Crews; mother Deloris Crews; sister Diane (Rex) Murray; brother Kenneth (Betty) Crews; grandchildren Jameon (Briana) Phillips, Stormy Phillips, Hardy Phillips, Hunter Hicks and Taylor Crews; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral service for Mrs. Crews was held at New Life Baptist Church in St. George on Saturday, May 4 with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial followed at Boones Creek Cemetery. Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA was in charge of arrangements. |

Share Martha Wheeler Davis, 82, of Glen St. Mary died peacefully on May 7, 2013 surrounded by family. She was born on January 24, 1931 in Lake City and worked for Gulf Life Insurance Company for 15 years, then retired from Northeast Florida State Hospital after 25 years. She was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ora Davis of Glen; daughter Karen (Joey) Shook of Glen; son Glenn Davis; granddaughters Amanda (Matt) Moore and Maggie Shook, both of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren Emma and Elijah Moore. Martha loved her friends and family, and above all, her Lord.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 9 at her church with Elder David Crawford officiating, assisted by Elder Gordon Smith, pastor of Westside Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at South Prong Cemetery. The visitation will be one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Mayo Clinic Liver Transplant Department, 4500 San Pablo Rd., Jacksonville, Fl 32224. Guerry Funeral Home of Macclenny is in charge of arrangements. |

Share James Larry Courson, 66, of Macclenny died on May 2, 2013. He was born in Waycross, GA on July 2, 1946 to the late Quincy and Leona Courson, and enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with family and friends. He was a life long Georgia Bulldogs fan.
Mr. Courson is survived by his loving wife Cheryl; daughters Alysha (Pete) Lampkin of Waycross, Sharon Summey, Melba (Billy) Baker and son Jamie (Kalyn) Courson, all of Macclenny; grandchildren Marc (Elizabeth), Trey, Chelsea, William, Deanna, Brenden, Nyah, Makenna, Nevaeh, Aysia and Connor; sisters Jean (Wendel) Petty and Pat (Charles) Rowell of Waycross and Debbie (Bill) Gunsaulus of Orange Park; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, and beloved pet CoCo.
The funeral service was held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Waycross. |

Share Clyde Jack Watson, Jr., 71, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013. He was born September 30, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Clyde & Edna (Bennett) Watson Sr.
Clyde had lived in Glen St Mary for the past 25 years coming from Jacksonville, was of the Baptist faith, and a member of The Boy Scouts of America and a leader of both Boy Scouts and the Explorers-motorcycle safety. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and being a member of a farm tractor club.
