Share Gloria Morine Padgett, 70, of Kingwood, Texas died on December 30, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Houston with family by her side. She was born in Jacksonville on January 11, 1942 to the late James M. Coleman and Inez Boyd Coleman. Gloria was raised in Baker County and graduated from Paxon High School in 1961. She was a resident of Kingwood since 2002 after moving from Columbus, OH. She enjoyed being a caretaker to all her family and friends and being an active member of the Girl Scouts as a leader and trainer. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Coleman. Mrs. Padgett is survived by her loving children Elizabeth J. Buckner of Casselberry, FL, Robert A. Padgett of Houston, TX, Keith (Cathy) Padgett of Holly Springs, NC and Debra L. Padgett of Houston; sisters Madge Newman of Houston and Sharon Coleman of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Kathrine Buckner, Krystal Buckner, Jason Padgett, Brandon Padgett and Samantha Padgett. A graveside service held on Friday, January 4 at 3 pm at South Prong Cemetery with Elder Jimmie Thornton officiating. V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements. |
