Louise P. Edwards, 97, died on December 6, 2012. She was a native of Starke and moved back to Florida from her home in Sinclairville, NY in 1997. She resided in Glen St. Mary and  attended First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary. She spent the past seven years in Frank Wells Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Eustace Parnele and George Edwards.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by step-daughters Opal and Mary and step-son Eustace, Jr.; nieces and nephews June and Sam Alderman of Land O’ Lakes, Carl and Sara Norman of Macclenny, Barbara and Tom Hall of Fairfax, VA, Pansy Gordon of Whitehouse and Hester Richie of Jacksonville; numerous great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service was held at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 11 at Evergreen Cemetery in Gainesville with Rev. Perry Hays officiating.
