|Ladycats break losing streak|

The Lady Wildcat volleyball team rebounded from a three-match losing streak to get two important wins this past week. The girls collected victories over Oakleaf and Suwannee to improve their record to 2-3.
Brooke Roberts led the Cats to a 3-0 victory over the Oakleaf Knights on September 11 in Jacksonville. Roberts had 7 kills on 10 attacks for a .700 hitting percentage. She also led Heather Sulkowski’s Cats with 8 digs and 3 service aces.
Candace Clack pitched in with 4 blocks. Malory Osteen had 6 kills and Callie Wheeler 4 service aces. The girls jumped out to a 25-17 win and won their remaining games in style 25-16, 25-22.
The Cats got a big win over Suwannee on September 12 at home, sweeping all three games. Video from the contest, including reactions from Coach Sulkowski, can be seen here.
Wheeler and Clack led the offense with 8 kills each and Kayla Holland had 6 kills. Holland also was the top server with 5 aces.
Taylor Hancock had 22 assists and Holland, Roberts and Reagan McKendree added 9 digs apiece on defense.
The JV went to 3-3 with 2-1 wins over Oakleaf and Suwannee. Video from the latter match is posted here.
The girls travel to Yulee on Thursday, September 20.
