Virginia Johnson, 101, loved sewing Virginia Phillips Johnson, 101, of Macclenny died June 30, 2012. Ms. Johnson was born in Lawrenceville, Virginia to the late James Fletcher Phillips and Elizabeth Seward Phillips on March 31, 1911.
She was a resident of Baker County for the last 15 years and a member of Maxville Baptist Church. Ms. Johnson loved sewing, gardening and yard work. She was predeceased by her husbands: Francis Kerfoot of 50 years and Bill Johnson; her son Frank Kerfoot and her granddaughter Debbie Branch.
Survivors include her daughter Margie Clevesy of Macclenny; her grandson Steve Branch of Macclenny; her great grandchildren Stephanie Branch, Eden Branch, Theron Branch and Alexis Branch; and her great-great grandchildren Kaelynn Hill and Kamden Hill. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
