Share A Macclenny man died in the pre-dawn hours of December 7 when his motorcycle struck a deer in west Nassau County. Justin Pugh, 31, was ejected from his eastbound 2007 Harley-Davidson when it collided with the animal on CR 108 about 6 miles west of US 301. The Florida Highway Patrol said he was on his way to work at the time and died at the scene. The collision killed the deer also. Mr. Pugh moved to Macclenny seven years ago from Wichita Falls, Texas, according to his obituary. His funeral and burial took place in Green Cove Springs on December 12. |
