Fall Into Family Fun Trunk or Treat at the YMCA, Saturday, October 29 from 11 am - 1 pm at 98 W. Lowder St. Kids can wear costumes and trick or treat at participating cars in the parking lot. There will be a chili cook-off, games, costume contest and more.
Trick or Treat on Main Street, October 29 from 1-3 pm. Kids can trick or treat at businesses along US 90. Pick up a map of participating business locations from Baker Title and Escrow, 553 E. Macclenny Ave.
Haunted Jail at 42 W. McIver Ave. next to the Emily Taber Library, October 28, 29 and 31 starting at 7 pm. It’s sponsored by the Baker County Historical Society and the Baker County High School history club. Enter the haunted jail’s “Realm of Terror,” then take a candlelight tour of the old sheriff’s building to see the hanging gallows. Food, drinks and game booths will be available for smaller children.
Fall Festival at First Assembly of God, October 30 from 4-7 pm at 206 N. 5th St. It includes free candy, hotdogs, game booths, music, a cake walk and bounce house.Hallelujah Night, Mt. Zion Church at 14670 SR 121 N. from 5-8 pm. If Halloween is not your thing, but you still want to celebrate, Mt. Zion NCM Church is offering Hallelujah Night as an alternative. Join them for a celebration including food, fun, fellowship, games and prizes for kids and teens.
Fall Festival at Destiny People Worship Center, October 31 from 6-9 pm at 7445 S. SR 121. Games and hay rides, food, candy, costumes and prizes will be available.
Trunk or Treat at First Baptist Church of Glen, October 31 from 6-8 pm at 9846 George Taber Rd. Trick or treat for candy from car trunks in the church parking lot, jump games, enjoy free hot dogs in the fellowship hall or carve a pumpkin with a gospel message.
Trick or Treat at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab, October 31 starting at 6 pm at 755 S. 5th St. Residents will hand out treats to kids in the center’s central courtyard.
Trick or Treat at W. Frank Wells Nursing Home, October 31, 6-8 pm at 210 N. 2nd St.
Pumpkin Patch at the First United Methodist Church, Macclenny, 93 N. 5th St. and Shuey Ave. Pumpkins are for sale, harvest displays and photo opportunities are available, too. Open daily through October 31.
