A 14-year-old Macclenny girl was struck by a vehicle while walking along the shoulder of CR 23C north of Macclenny the evening of September 27.

Ronnye A. Bischof received minor injuries, according to a report from Florida Highway Patrol Trooper M.D. Childress, after the right outside mirror on what was described as a white pickup truck hit her left shoulder as she headed west near Camelot Place about 7:45 pm.

The truck did not stop and was last seen heading west on CR 23C.

The youth was taken to Fraser Memorial by her mother.
