Baker County, founded in 1861, celebrated its 150th birthday Saturday, September 24 with a parade, history reinactors, music, dozens of vendors, a rocking street dance which included a performance by Nashville recording artists Branch & Dean, both Baker County natives, and finally fireworks. An estimated 9,000 people took part in the festivities.
