Raymond Jack Jordan, 70, of Macclenny died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH to Kyle Jordan and Martha Montgomery-Jordan. Mr. Jordan’s favorite saying was “Out of darkness, comes the light.” He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Carolyn Jordan of Macclenny; children Deborah Helton, Thomas Jordan, Sherry Christ, Richard Jordan, Donna Jordan, Peggy Sherman, Paul Lindsey, and Cheryl Thorson; brother Kyle Jordan Jr.; sisters Jean Brandenburg and Delores Jordan; 14 grandchildren.

Ferreira Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
