ShareElzia Starling Raulerson of Vancouver, WA passed away at home surrounded by family on March 12, 2011. She was born September 28, 1916 in Baxter to William and Minnie Starling. After working for 20 years at Anchor Hocking Glass Factory in Jacksonville she retired to Vancouver, which she called ‘God’s Country’. While in Vancouver she worked in the distribution department of The Columbian, where she was publicly honored for her dedication. Elzia enjoyed crafting quilts, jigsaw puzzles, making doll clothing, and sightseeing. She was always full of life and always had a colorful and unconventional tale to tell everyone. A celebration of her life will be held April 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glen St. Mary Assembly of God in Glen St. Mary, with Pastor Paul Hale officiating, followed by inurnment at the North Prong Cemetery in Baker County, FL. Cascadia Cremation & Burial Services is in charge of local arrangements. |
